The Transformation Office invites all members of the George Campus community to attend an awareness session on the University's newly approved Safeguarding Policy on 30 June.

This important session will introduce the policy and provide an overview of its purpose, implementation, and the responsibilities of all members of the University community.

 

The Safeguarding Policy is a key institutional measure aimed at preventing and responding to harm, including issues such as trafficking in persons, which is recognised as a form of gender-based violence and harm. It forms part of the University's broader commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students, staff, and visitors.

 

We encourage all members of the George Campus community to attend and familiarise themselves with this important policy as we continue to strengthen our collective efforts to promote safety, protect vulnerable persons, and combat all forms of violence and exploitation.
